The first half stage of the time in 20th century, the translation of foreign literature has two kinds of important features as follow. The first, attaches to translate the literature of Western civilized countries. The second, concerns to translate the literature of puniness race which have national crisis as China. But, translation of Korean literary works is deeply influenced by three kinds of ideology. The three kinds of ideology is ideology of puniness race, anti-Japanese nationalism and trendof proletariat literature. The concept of "literature of puniness race" origin by Chinese intellectuals' modern search and be awaken of nationalism in early stage of 20th century. Mainly from China invaded by Japan, Anti-Japanese nationalism has a profound effect on Chinese intelligentsia, and even, on Chinese society. At the same age, the trend of proletariat literature which has influenced Korea, China, Japan widely, is also make an important affection in China. The ideologies directly influence Korean contemporary literature in selection of works (novel) and tactic of translation and introduction in China, and also, made an impact on Chinese intelligentsia.
