This paper reviews briefly some definitions and cases of management innovation which would be helpful in innovating SMEs' business affairs. Reflecting the result of this review, cases of SMEs' management innovation in Busan and Kyoto are investigated to derive some characteristics of management innovation in these regions which contain the regional unique culture factors. The procedure of management innovation for SMEs in these regions is introduced and some remarks are also given.
