초록
영어
This study aims to research for a meaningful source of modern design which is regarded ‘Purity’ or ‘Abstraction’ that is revealed as a common characteristics through works by artists in the ‘Avant-garde’ groups such as, Bauhaus, De Stijl(or Neoplasticism), and Constructivism(or Suprematism). It might be questioned why such characteristics among a lot of those contemporary artists happened simultaneously in accident even though their common propaganda are perceived as so-called ‘Zeitgeist.’ Therefore it might be quested that their works could be made not only by their inherited innate talents, but also more basically by influence of common educational background. As a result, the artists including architects in early twentieth ‘Avant-garde’ groups who created the ‘pure’ shapes toward modern, had been greatly influenced by the late nineteenth Froebel Education which had basically changed the recognition in West. And a further study to reveal another factors which helped the western phenomena is ultimately needed.
