The telecommunication technologies have been developing very rapidly. Therefore, terminologies
and abbreviations are newly producing and deleting. ITU(International telecommunication
union) has been working the standardization of the terms and terminologies etc in the field of
telecommunication and radiocommunication. Recently the cooperation between R.O.K and
D.P.R.K has been increasing gradually in the infocommunication technology and we can suggest
that R.O.K and D.P.R.K in the international agencies are going to have chance to have the
joint cooperation in the infocommunication field. This paper shows the methods and items for
standardization of the infocommunication terminologies and abbreviations and how to
progress it.
