An orthophonic alphabet system Hangeul, originally called Hoonmin Jungeum, had been
developed for Korean in the fifteen century by King Sejong. Based on this system Korean
language has been computerized rapidly as ever in the era of computer. Industries on Korean
language information have grown up noticeably in recent years. Distinguishable characteristics of
digital Koreans are rapid document processing and information retrieval in comparison with those
of English as well as other languages. Issues of Korean language information industries are how
to capitalize noticeable Korean characters in global markets.
