Study on of Kim Sa-Ryang Li, Chun-Mei This paper studies the long documentary writing of Kim Sa-Ryang through a historical and cultural historical prospective. Together with the book of Edgar Snow, which is about the anti-Japanese Base of Shaanxi, Gunsu and Ningxia, which faithfully recorded what was going on during the Chinese Revolutionary times about KMT, CPC and the Eighth Routh Army and the happenings and customs of the Mountain Taihang Anti-Japanese Base, has become masterpieces truly refected the truth of Chinese revolution. being the first in truly presenting the brave fighting history of the Korean Volunteers Army, and recovering the almost forgotten history, plays a significant role as an important historical record in recording the national liberation history the Koreans. Through of Kim Sa-Ryang, we could also see the truth of the Korean intellectuals. Under the rule of Japanese Imperialists, the Korean Intellectuals always stood firm after going through bitterness, frustrations and reflections.

본고는 역사적․문화사적 시각에서 김사량의 장편르포 <노마만리>를 고찰하였다. <노마만리>는 태항산 항일근거지를 위주로 중공과 팔로군 및 국민당을 포함한 중국의 혁명 상황, 중국인의 세태와 풍속 등을 진실하게 기록한 작품이다. 그렇기 때문에 섬감녕 항일근거지를 위주로 한 에드거 스노의 서행만기와 쌍벽을 이루면서 중국혁명 실상을 여실히 반영한 역작(力作)으로 평가될 수 있다. 특히 이 작품은 역사의 뒤안길에 영영 묻힐 뻔 했던 조선의용군의 활약상을 형상화하여 우리 민족 해방투쟁사의 중요한 한 갈래를 복원하였다는데 특별한 문헌사적 의미를 갖고 있다. 또한 고뇌와 좌절, 굴절과 반성을 거쳐 다시 불사조처럼 일어난 일제치하 우리 지성사의 참모습을 볼 수 있도록 한다는 점에서도 큰 의의를 부여할 수 있다.
