The purpose of this study was to develop the scale for Korean students' attitudes toward technology. To meet the purpose of this study, the data was collected from 21 schools from elementary to high schools. The questionnaire consists of a Likert-type scale in order to assess students' attitudes toward technology. The data was analyzed using a factor analysis and 60 items were clustered by six factors. The main survey was carried out for 630 students and the data were analyzed by means of SPSSWin 11.0 Version. The results of this study were as follows; First, the TAS (Technology Attitude Scale) was selected by 58 items through the main survey and the factor consists of six categories. Second, factor 1 was named 'Interest in technology' that consists of 10 items. The value of factor loading was indicated more than 0.5. Third, factor 2 was named 'Technology as an activity for both boys and girls' that consists of 10 items. The value of factor loading was indicated more than 0.4. Fourth, factor 3 was named 'Perception of the difficulty of technology' that consists of 9 items. The value of factor loading was indicated more than 0.4. Fifth, factor 4 was named 'Consequences of technology' that consists of 10 items. The value of factor loading was indicated more than 0.4. Sixth, factor 5 was named 'Technology in the school curriculum' that consists of 10 items. The value of factor loading was indicated more than 0.4. Seventh, factor 6 was named 'Ideas about pursuing a career related to technology' that consists of 9 items. The value of factor loading was showed more than 0.4. Finally, the reliability of the TAS was calculated by Cronbach's Alpha .89.

이 연구는 우리나라 초, 중, 고등학교 학생들의 기술에 대한 태도를 측정하기 위한 기술 태도 척도를 만드는 데 그 목적이 있다. 기술에 대한 태도 척도를 만들기 위하여 초, 중, 고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 예비조사와 본검사 조사를 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSSWIN 11.0을 이용하였다. 기술의 태도를 구성하고 있는 요인들을 확인하기 위하여 요인분석을 하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다.1) 기술에 대한 태도 척도는 본검사를 통해서 58개 문항으로 확정되었다. 이 태도 척도를 구성하고 있는 요인은 6개 이다.2) 요인1은 ‘기술에 대한 흥미’(10개 문항)이며 요인 적재량은 0.5 이상이다.3) 요인2는 ‘기술의 성 역할’(10개 문항)이며, 요인 적재량은 약 0.4 이상이다.4) 요인3은 ‘기술의 난이도’(9개 문항)이며, 요인 적재량은 약 0.4 이상이다.5) 요인4는 ‘기술의 결과’(10개 문항)이며, 요인 적재량은 0.4 이상이다.6) 요인5는 ‘기술과 학교 교육과정’(10개 문항)이며, 요인 적재량은 0.4 이상이다.7) 요인6은 ‘기술과 직업’(9개 문항)이며, 요인 적재량은 0.4 이상이다.8) 기술에 대한 태도 검사지의 문항 내적 일치도의 신뢰도를 얻기 위해 Cronbach Alpha 값을 산출한 결과 α값은 0.89이었다.
