This article reveals the following important implications and meanings of Father Céspedes in Korea and Japan. Among the missionary works of Father Céspedes during 34 years (1577-1611), the one year from 1593 to 1594, his staying in Korea as a war Father, has important meaning to Korean history.
Despite a deportation order of Japan in 1587, he had contributed in making the Catholic province and increasing the number of believers in Japan, as we differently understood.
