Bohai bay Round-sea Area is located in the throat of northeast. Early beginning of bronze age in this area was around 2300 B.C. though there are regional differences in the start of bronze age. There are many cultures in this era, which were Under Xiajiadin culture in Liaoxi, Gaotaisan culture in ShenYang, Machengzi culture in mountain area of Liao-dong, Sangtuozi culture in field area of Liao-dong, Datuotu culture in Jingjin area, and Ywesi culture in Liao-dong. The study for these cultures were started in 1920. In the early reports, most of them were focused on the determination of the relevances with Jung Won Cultural Area. However, continuous studying on these cultures found major differences between these area, especially Manchuria, and Jung Won area. This is head-on contradiction to deny the concept that the developing of ancient Mancuria cultures were mainly affected by the Jung Won area. The contradiction, above all, which is based on the studying through the archeological excavation, is so reliable. This contradictory concept gave birth to the controversial effect on the manners of interpretation for ancient culture in these areas. As a results, we provisionally concluded as follows; In many Bronze age cultures of Bohai bay Round-sea Area, Ywesi culture was considered to be originated from Tong'i culture and other northern cultures were belong to the their own native culture. First of all, It is the fact that this thesis was suggested by chinese academic society that had an effect on Korea or Japan academic society. In case of Korea academic society, they were increasingly acquainted with the fact that hanminjok culture was originated from Bohai bay Round-sea Area. This inclination was also applied to the Japan academic society. Additionally, linguists also demonstrated and supported the thesis. However, in spite of the thesis spreading, there is still a lot of existing problems to keep studying because China has still taken the lead in studying of this field. Furthermore, they founded national committee organization to deal with the historical problem in Bohai bay Round-sea Area. The committee in china unconditionally tried to subordinate the ancient Manchuria culture to their own history. It is totally different from scholar's opinion that may cause big trouble. The act like this should be retreated for themselves. Otherwise, the scholars may confront to reveal the truth by their studying.

환발해만은 동북아시아의 인후부이다. 이 지역에서 청동기시대문화가 시작된 것은 지역적으로 약간의 차이는 있지만 빠른 지역은 기원전 23세기 무렵부터이다. 요서지역의 하가점하층문화, 심양지역의 고태산문화, 요동산지의 마성자문화, 요동반도의 쌍타자문화, 경진지구의 대타두문화, 그리고 산동지역의 악석문화이다. 이 문화들에 대한 연구가 시작된 것은 1920년대부터인데 연구 초기에는 주로 중원문화와 관계를 설정하는 것이 기본이었다. 그렇지만 학문적인 연구결과가 쌓이면서 이 지역 문화와 중원지역 문화간에는 큰 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 그 중 만주지역과 중원지역차이는 확연하게 드러나는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이것은 그동안 만주지역의 고대문화들이 중원지역의 영향을 받아 발전한 것으로 생각하던 견해를 정면으로 부정하는 것이었다. 그것은 무엇보다도 고고학발굴을 통한 결과를 근거로 하는 견해들이기 때문에 충분히 신뢰할 만하다고 하겠다. 이러한 견해가 제기되자 이 지역을 연구하는 많은 학자들은 이 지역의 고대문화를 어떻게 해석할 것 인가에 대하여 고민을 하게 되었다. 그 고민의 결과 다음과 같은 결과로 귀납되었다. 환발해만지역의 청동기시대문화는 중 악석문화는 동이문화로 볼 수 있고, 나머지 북방지역 문화는 그들 고유문화로 보는 것이 맞다는 것으로 연구되기 시작 하였다.무엇보다도 중국학계에서 이런 견해들이 제기된다는 것은 한국학계나 일본학계에 큰 영향을 주었다. 한국학계의 경우 한민족문화의 기원지로 인식하는 경향이 점차 늘어나고 있으며, 일본학계 역시 그들의 선조문화가 이곳에서 출발하는 것으로 보는 견해들이 점점 늘어나고 있는 것을 볼 수 있다. 이것은 최근 언어학자들도 증명하는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 이러한 경향에도 불구하고 연구상 많은 문제점이 있는 것도 현실이다. 현재 연구의 주도권은 중국이 잡고 있다고 볼 수 있다. 중국은 이 지역의 역사문제를 다루는 국가기구를 만들었다. 그 기구에서 무조건적으로 만주의 고대문화를 중국역사와 직접적인 관계를 갖는 것으로 정리하고 있다. 이것은 순수한 학자들의 견해와 다른 것으로 그 파장은 매우 클 것으로 볼 수 있다. 중국의 이러한 행동은 먼저 중국 스스로가 철회를 해야 할 일이지만 그렇지 않다면 학자들이 나서서 연구결과로 맞서야 할 것이다.
