This article aims to analyze the organization of classic books of Kim min young Collection which are collected by October, 2007(1,243kinds, 2,340books) with bibliographical analysis(i.e printing method, subject, printing era) and also to examine characteristics of Kim's collection. As a result, followings are revealed.
First, it is unveiled that woodblock printings occupy 69% of whole collection and a lot of metal type printings are also collected. Second, classic books concerned with Buddhism form 75%(937kinds 1,522books) of whole collection, among them 『妙法蓮華經』 printings are most numerous. Also, Collector's will is strongly reflected in some special subject of Buddhism book. Finally, it is 17th century book that most common among old books which can be known their printing(or writing) time and latter term of Chosun Dynasty books in unknown their printing time,
respectively.

이 글은 2007년 10월 기준 김민영 소장 고전적 1,243종 2,340책을 대상으로 판종별, 주제별, 시대별 분석을 통해 장서 구성의 특징을 파악하고 그 성격을 규명하였다. 그 결과 판종별로는 목판본이 전체 장서의 69%(860종 1,423책)로 가장 많았으며, 이 외에도 금속활자본이 다수 소장되어 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 주제별로는 불교전적이 전체 장서의 75%(937종 1,522책)로 가장 많았으며, 그 중에서도 특히 『묘법연화경』판본이 가장 많았다. 또한 일부 특정 주제 전적의 경우에는 소장자의 집서의지가 강하게 반영되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 시대별로는 간사년이 확인되는 전적은 17C의 전적이, 확인되지 않은 전적은 조선후기의 전적이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다.
