The purposes of this research are to fined out about characters and importances of regional development strategy, to analyze relation of development type with development pattern, to analyze population pattern, to analyze location pattern. To achieving the purposes of the study, `Taean small town promoting businesses' was used as the consultation.
Regionalism development play an important role in small town promoting businesses with develop model of 3-type.; the urban infrastructure type, culture-wellbeing type, living infrastructure type. The model of regionalism development has high relation to character of population size and location pattern. As the result, `small town promoting businesses' must use main strategy of regionalism development that its suit characters of small town. Moreover, this research suggested regionalism development strategies for 'small town promoting businesses' in terms of population size, location pattern, development type, development pattern
