A Study of the experienced space of architectural by M. Merleau-Ponty's physical phenomenology for the method of space perception

stayed in a spacial experience gradually changes to active main body. Especially, M. Merleau-Ponty acknowledged human being as the main body of the space perception, and he said that the main body perceive a space with synthetic thinking of all phenomena experienced through its body.
Through this theory, we tried to deal with the dualistic problem, such as the subject and the main body, or the space and the human body, by means of the phenomenology of human body.
The new interpretation regarding the relations between architectural space and human being is related to the problem that what kind of the meaning human body has in a way to experience of a space and a form. Therefore, we analyzed the relations between architectural space and human body through the comprehension and interpretation of new spacial concept by M.
Merleau-Ponty‘s physical phenomenological perception way, and researched the meaning of 'experienced space' in architectural space in compared the works of modern architects, for example Ando Tadao, Steven Holl and so on.
