The purpose of this study is to establish the directions for the specialized
vocational high school through need analysis of consumers of education.
In theoretical aspect, the variation aspect of specialized vocational high
school was considered and discussed, and in empirical aspect, the education
needs of consumers, operation specificity, and expectation outcomes of
specialized vocational high school were abstracted and LISREL was used for
the analytical purpose.
In the detailed abstract factors, first, needs for the establishment of
specialized vocational high school include the connections between industries
and schools, enforcement of experiment and practice, and development of
regional innovation system. Second, image improvement , substantiality and
liability, contribution for the regional industries and satisfaction were
abstracted in the expectation outcomes area.
In the result of study, the impact of all factor is revealed significant effect
except enforcement of experiment and practice. So. factors of need analysis
of consumers of education are revealed significance.
Based on the result of this study, it is suggested that the need analysis of
consumers of education should be included in the future research of
specialized vocational high school.

하여 특성화 방향을 설정하는데 기여하고자 하였다. 여기에는 교육수요자의 특성화고에 대한 필요
성과 운영특성 그리고 기대성과요인이 추출되었으며, 이들 요인 간에 관계를 구조방정식 모형
(LISREL)을 이용하여 분석하였다.
세부 추출요인은 특성화고 설립에 대한 필요성에서는 산업균형발전과 관련지어 산학연계, 실험
실습강화, 지역균형발전과의 동일한 방향성이 추출되었으며, 기대성과는 이미지제고, 내실화 및 신
뢰증대, 지역산업기여, 만족도로 추출되었다.
연구결과 산학연계, 지역균형발전이 특성화고의 운영특성을 통하여 기대성과인 이미지제고, 내
실화 및 신뢰증대, 지역산업기업, 만족도에 유의한 결과를 나타내었으며, 실험실습강화요인은 유의
하지 않게 나타났다. 이는 실험실습에 대한 효율적인 투자와 실질적인 적용방안이 필요함을 나타
낸 것으로 볼 수 있다.
따라서 향후 특성화 전환을 위한 연구에서는 일반적인 환경분석을 통한 방향설정뿐만 아니라 본
연구와 같이 교육수요자의 요구분석에 대한 영역을 포함시켜 방향설정을 해야 할 것이다.
