A Cognition Survey on Improving Cooperation Between Korean and Chinese Photonics Companies

Photonics industry is an advanced technology-intensive industry and has a great pervasive effect on its related industries. It is one of the favorable industry in 21th century. The KAPID forecasts that it's world market size will be around ＄385 billion in 2010.
In this paper, we analyzed the state of Korean and Chinese Photonics industry and conducted a cognition survey for Chinese enterprisers to find some methodologies improving cooperation. And then we propose several cooperative programs such as understanding each other, making strategic alliance, developing integrated database and language translating software, and promoting information and personnel exchange, etc.
