This study can provide the companies with all round viewpoint of IT Cost model design. This is also an ongoing case study to present factors which need to be considered to design IT Cost model. The result of the IT Cost model shows that the accuracy and reliance on IT cost information depends on the importance of the direct cost. To make it more efficient. It can summerised follows；First, Cost account should be able to consisted with TCO system to compute the unit cost. Second, cost center should be designed as a system that IT cost can be totalized directly. Third, cost driver should be set properly after understanding the relation among cause and effect of cost account, cost center and cost object.

본 연구는 IT자산을 효율적.이고 효과적으로 관리하기 위하여 IT 서비스별 원가를 계산하는 IT Cost 모형을 제시하였다. 또한 이를 사례기업의 현행 IT Cost 모델과 비교분석함으로써 새로운 모델에 대한 활용가능성을 검증하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 기존에 많은 연구가 이루진 회계학분야의 ABC적용에 관한 연구에서 나아가 효율적인 IT서비스를 제공하기 위한 IT Cost를 계산하기 위하여 ABC의 자원(Resource)과 활동(Activity) 그리고 원가대상(Cost Object)에 대하여 각각 비용계정(Cost Account), 비용중심점(Cost Center), 원가대상(Cost Object)의 구조로 대응하여 IT Cost모델을 설계함으로써 IT Cost를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 체계적인 기틀을 제시하였다. 둘째, 비용계정(Cost Account)을 가트너 그룹이 제시한 TCO 구분체계로 설정함으로써 전산관련 예산에 포함되는 직접비용뿐만 아니라 사용자 운영비, 서비스 정지 및 기능장애로 인한 손실비용과 같이 숨겨진 간접비용까지 관리할 수 있는 IT Cost 모델을 제시하였다. 셋째, IT원가관리를 위해 시스템을 구축하는 절차는 기업마다 매우 다양하게 접근할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 IT원가관리에 대하 미흡과 그동안의 인식부족으로 실제 사례에 대한 부족하여 방향성을 제시해 주지 못하고 있기 때문에 본 연구는 IT원가모델을 설계하려는 기업들에게 학습의 기회를 제공하여 줄 수 있는 참고모델이 될 것이다.
