The purpose of this study is to develop a teaching method through the use of Audio-Visual Media in Korean Culture Education. The foreigner can learn Korean language and Korean culture simultaneously because the Audio-Visual Media, as a composite culture, includes th various life styles, behavior, emotions, and thinking of Korean people. Thus, this study deals with how to effectively use audio-visual media(focused on TV Dramas and Movies), the products of culture, as one means in order to teach Korean culture. And to make some suggestions various learning activities of culture by presenting the standards to select TV dramas and movies and the methods of using them. There are some procedures such as, the preview activities - pre-watching activities - watching - review & feedback activities in the instruction through TV dramas and movies and there are some methods etc. The communication ability is relate to not only th linguistic elements but also non-linguistic and socio-cultural contexts. Since this kinds of communication ability is based on the culture of the language community, there'll have to be much more studies about the culture education.
