The author gives an overview over the history of liturgics in Germany. In the first chapter, he explains why the history of liturgics has not yet been written. Chapters two and three outline the history of liturgics, starting with the Church of the West for the era of the Middle Ages (chapter 2), and then concentrating on Germany from the time of the Reformation until today (chapter 3). The author shows that since the era of Enlightment, the development of liturgics in the Roman-Catholic and the Protestant (resp. Lutheran) theology is closely interrelated. Many footnotes give opportunity to further in-depth research.

본 논문은 독일 예배학/ 예전학/ 전례학 역사의 형식에 관하여 논술한다. 지금까지 예배학 예전학/ 전례학의 역사가 씌어 지지 않은 이유에 대하여 제1장에서 기술하고 제2장과 제3장에서는 예배학/ 예전학/ 전례학의 역사에 대해 고찰 한다. 특히 제2장에서는 중세 예배예전의 역사로서 서방교회의 역사적 상황을 논술하고, 제3장에서는 종교개혁 시대부터 현재까지의 독일 예배 예전학의 신학적 바탕을 중심으로 집중하여 연구 하고자 한다.
특히 본 논문은 로마 가톨릭 신학과 개신교 신학에 있어서 예배학/ 예전학/ 전례학이 일치점을 이룬 것은 계몽주의 시대부터 서로 밀접하게 관계되어 발전하여 왔음을 부각시키고자 한다. 동시에 예배학/ 예전학/ 전례학에 관한 지속적인 연구에 유익한 자료들을 참고문헌에 제공하였으며, 또한 각주 처리를 참고문헌과 연계하여 정리하였다.
