The purpose of this study is to examine relationships of seeks social support of coping strategy and bullying appraisals among school adjustment and bullies of Adolescents. A sample of adolescent was drawn from middle and high school in Gyeonggi-do. The results showed that degree of bullying was negatively related school adjustment. And when seeks social support of coping strategy and bullying negative appraisal were added respectively as a mediator variable, results indicated a (partial) mediating effect, on school adjustment. The mediating effect was different from sex and level. Seeks social support of coping strategy operated as a promoter between bullying and school adjustment in high school level and girl group. And the mediating effect of bullying appraisal behaved in boy group and in middle and high school level. Lastly limitations of the study as well as implications are discussed.

본 연구의 목적은 청소년들의 학교폭력 가해 경험이 학교생활적응에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고, 이 과정에서 사회적 지지추구 대처전략과 폭력에 대한 부정적 평가가 폭력가해경험정도와 학교생활적응 사이에서 매개효과를 나타내는지를 검증하는 것이다. 이러한 분석을 통하여 폭력가해경험으로 인한 학교생활 부적응을 예방할 수 있는 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 경기도 지역에 거주하는 중고등학생을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 배포한 후 최종 307명의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 폭력가해경험은 학교생활적응과 부적인 관련성을 나타냈고, 학교폭력 가해경험과 학교생활적응과의 관계에 있어 폭력에 대한 부정적인 평가와 사회적 지지추구 대처전략의 매개효과가 검증되었다. 세부적으로 중학생에게는 부정적 평가가, 고등학생에게는 사회적 지지추구 대처전략이 매개효과로 나타났다. 또한 남학생에게는 부정적 평가가, 여학생에게는 사회적 지지추구 대처전략이 학교생활적응에 미치는 폭력가해 경험의 부정적 효과를 매개하였다.
