There shows several characteristics in the development of bilateral trade between China and Korea since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1992. Although the official trade
between China and Korea started late, along with persistent development, Korea became the
China’s 6th trade partner and China turned to be 1st trade partner of Korea.
Following increase of bilateral trade volume, bilateral trade becomes more important in each
country’s trade and is influencing the development of each country’s economy positively.
According to the bilateral trade, the trade structure also shows new changes that intra-industry
trade and horizontal trade turn to be much more. On the other hand, there are sometimes some
trade disputes and some problems that Korea continues to be a trade surplus and China has many trade deficits

금년은 중한 수교 15 주년이 되는 뜻 깊은 한 해로서 1992 년 중한 수교 이래 중한 쌍무무역의 발전은 몇 가지 특징을 나타내고 있다. 이를테면 양국간의 정상무역이 비록 늦게 시작 되었지만 지속적으로 발전하여 한국은 이미 중국의 주요무역 대상국에서 6 번째의 순위를 차지하고 있으며 중국은 한국의 제일 큰 무역 대상국으로 부상하였다.
상호간의 교역액이 증가됨에 따라 쌍무무역이 각자 무역에서의 지위가 점차적으로 높아져 본국의 경제발전에서 적극적인 영향을 발휘하고 있다.
