초록
영어
This paper intends to analyze the present trade and structure of Korean-Chinese services industry with Chinese accession to the WTO and find out the desirable trade policy of Korean-Chinese economic cooperation in 21st century. Korea and China are the main trade partners in the world market each other. Korea exported the goods of $ 61,900 million to China and imported the goods of $38,600 million from China in 2005. The trade of two countries grows larger every year and maybe in the near future will increase to $200 billions. Korea's services trades with China are expected to be larger than goods trade, so the Korea-China trade dispute will occur seriously in the services trade sectors.
In conclusion, if we take the long-term development trends of Korea-China services trade mentioned in the above into consideration, Chinese services industry is yet below the level of Korea, but will soon get up with Korean level. Korea has above a majority in GDP and employment of services industry, but China is in the early stage of developing country in industrial structure. The industrial structure of Korea is composed of tertiary industry(73.5%), secondary industry(18.6%) and primary industry(7.9%) in employment of 2005 and that of China is 28.6%, 21.4% and 50.0% respectively in 2002. The services industry weight of GDP in 2004 is also 55.4% in Korea and 40.7% in China
