This article is to introduce the Multisystemic Therapy which is acknowledged as the best intervention approach for adolescent at risk in North America and Europe and the Youth
Companion Program which is the application of Multisystemic therapy in Korea. We explain
9 core principles and training system of the Multisystemic Therapy. We also introduce
operating principles and intervention approach, training system of the Youth Companion
Program. At last we discuss application and limitation of the Multisystemic Therapy for the
Youth Companion Program.

최근 미국 및 유럽에서 위기청소년에 대한 개입방법으로 그 효과를 검증받고 있는 다중체계치료(Multisystemic Therapy)를 소개하고, 이것을 한국적 상황에 적용한 청소년동반자 프로그램에 대해 소개하였다. 먼저, 다중체계 치료의 핵심 개념인 9가지 원칙과 이것의 교육 체계에 대해 설명하였다. 이를 적용한 우리나라의 청소년동반자 프로그램의 운용원칙, 개입방식 및 교육체계에 대해 설명하였다. 마지막으로, 다중체계치료가 청소년 동반자 프로그램에 적용가능한 점과 적용상의 제한점에 대해 논의하였다.
