The advent of the Internet has created the possibility for exporters to serve international markets using virtual export channels. The Internet will revolutionize the dynamics of international commerce and lead to the more internationalization of small and medium-sized firms.
A small number of studies relate to the use of Internet in exporting. To date, however, there is a relative lack of research into the use of the Internet as a new channel to export markets.
The purpose of this study is to identify the drivers and export performance of Internet export marketing strategy by small exporting firms in the context of competing in international markets.
