The purpose of this paper is to analyse and integrate the Enneagram system related to the
psychological approaches. The Enneagram is a powerful and dynamic personality system that
describes nine distinct and fundamentally different patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting.
Human begins can be analyzed from a broad spectrum of viewpoints, each revealing and
illuminating on facet of whole. Human beings can be interpreted biologically, psychologically,
sociologically, historically, as physical objects by physicists, an as spiritual beings by theologians.
But just a there is no one all-encompassing explanation for the human nature, there in no one
all-encompassing explanation for the Enneagram.
Then, Enneagram is a universal psychological symbol, one which can accommodate many
different interpretations such as Freudian, Jungian, Hornevian, Erikson, and so on. That means
that Enneagram. It is comprehensive, dynamic symbol of the human psychic based on a number
of philosophical and psychological antecedents that have com together in a powerful new synthesis.
So it is useful because it helps deepen our self-understanding and our understanding of others.
Finally, Enneagram system integrates not only the psychological theories, especially including
personality theories, but the clinical fields. Comparing the official DSM-IV psychic types and
the Enneagram personality types, Enneagram personality types are reinforced by modern
