This study was conducted to figure out the relationship between enneagram and education by means of theoretical examination on the aims of education (knowledge, compassion and
justice those will guide to the harmonious development of human and the central force of
enneagram), teaching/learning methods and processes associated with these aims and the values we pursue. In this study, we could find out the fact that the central force of eneeagram and
education are linked not only by single dimension but also cohesive and complicated way.
In addition, we found that the aims of education works together to achieve balanced development
with whole personalities as if the central force of enneagram functions in the cohesive and
complicated way. In the same context, the methods of education should also function together
with the processes and the pursuing values. Extension of eneeagram and education based on
the findings above is expected.

이 연구는 에니어그램의 힘의 중심과 인간의 조화로운 발달을 위한 지, 정, 의 교육목표, 이와 관련한 교수 학습방법과 과정, 그리고 지향하는 가치에 대하여 이론적으로 검토하여 에니어그램과 교육과의 관계성을 찾아보기 위한 시도이다. 이 시도를 통해 에니어그램의 힘의 중심과 교육은 평면적으로 서로 연결되고 있다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었으며, 이는 평면적인 연관성만이 아니라 에니어그램의 자아통합과 자아초월의 인간관과도 교육의 3가지 목표와 교육방법, 교육과정들이 상호유기적이고도 일치와 통합의 방향으로 나아가야 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 힘의 중심이 개별적으로 기능하기보다는 상호 유기적으로 기능하듯이 교육목표 역시 하나하나가 모여 전인적 발달을 도모할 수 있으며 교육방법 역시, 과정과 가치지향은 상호 유기적으로 작용해야 한다는 점을 발견할 수 있었다. 이는 에니어그램이 지니고 있는 힘의 중심과 특성과 교육의 목표와 특성과 연결되어 있음을 알 수 있다. 이 연결구도의 논의 속에서 에니어그램의 이해나 교육이 더욱 확대될 수 있기를 기대한다.
