Evaluation of the Joint Performance in Wall-slab Connection of SC Structure

SC(steel plate-concrete) structure is recently used in nuclear power structure because of its efficiency of construction. In this study, behavior and strength of wall-slab connection of SC structure were investigated. 4 types of wall-slab connection were tested to compare the
basic difference in transfer mechanism of shear force. To examine the distribution of shear force in the shear plate and the surface of wall, stains at the surface of the shear plate were measured, and as a result, the shear force was calculated from the moment gradient of the
shear plate. Strength formula was proposed for the shear plate and the friction of wall. Especially, slippage of the top rebar was surveyed to evaluate the fixity of the wall-slab joint.
