The Chinese traditional painting animation have ever stirred the world, but traditional painting animation is seen rarely effected. The important case is that the got-up cycle of painting animation is longer than other animation, make the fabricant and the investor flinching. The dissertation explain and analyze the got-up trait of old opus of the Chinese traditional painting animation. I hope it is a little hint for the developmental direction of the Chinese traditional painting animation.

动画，是目前娱乐产业中最具价值的文化产业之一。“受用者常常会扮演生产者”，娱乐产业就是这样一种被受用者影响的数码文化形态。这样的娱乐产业的潜在价值在于带给受用者的趣味性和娱乐性。这也是“会动的图画”能被定义为动画艺术这一概念的原因之一。由于动画集综合艺术于一身，和其它产业比起来，产业联动效果非常大。所以动画业被看成是极具世界市场竞争力的商业模式之一。 中国水墨动画曾经轰动过世界，可是现在,即使中国国内也很少看见新的传统水墨动画作品。其主要原因是水墨动画的制作周期要比其他动画还要长，这使制作者和投资商对其望而却步。本论文对中国水墨动画的历史作品与制作特点等进行说明和分析，希望借此对中国传统水墨动画的发展方向作出一点提示。
