In case of the structure function of family has deficiency and troubles, we not only don't expect the essential function that family have, but also it has a bad effect upon character formation of juvenile and might be appeared as problem behaviors further.
It is indicated that juveniles might learn distortion about society and negative conviction due to the
functionally coercive and negative family atmosphere.
Thus, necessity of demonstrative and systematic study are raised, and above all, clearing up the cause which have influence on the flexibility of psycho-social adaptation of juveniles who are living in the critical atmosphere such as troubles and violences is very essential in the point of building the measures of intervention and prevention.
Thus, in this study I will find out that the influence of structural functional deficient family on juveniles and depending on the distinction how different the problem behaviors are, and try to find a solution of community intervention and prevention by presenting practical data about what the causes intervening between their adjustment and maladjustment are.

최근 자주 발생되는 가족동반자살, 높은 이혼율, 저 출산율, 빈번한 가정폭력, 아동학대 및 성폭력, 높
아지는 알콜 및 마약 중독율, 빈부격차로 인한 빈곤가족 확대, 소년․소녀 가장 가정의 증가 등 일련의
사회문제는 한국의 가족이 구조적․기능적으로 결손 되어 있음을 반영해 주는 현상이며, 이러한 현상은
아동의 문제행동으로 이어지고 있다. 그러나 지금까지 한국의 결손가족 문제에 있어 아동은 보호받지 못한 존재로서 철저히 소외되어 온 경향이 있다. 세계적인 추세로 볼 때 결손가정문제의 예방 전략에서 아동을 적극적으로 포함시키고 있으며, 아동을 보호해야 할 피해자인 동시에 미래의 문제행동을 예방할 수 있는 조기 개입 대상자로 본다. 그러므로 본 연구에서 사용하는 결손가정이란 구조적. 기능적 결손이 예측되는 위기가정을 포괄적으로 포함한 의미로서 ‘결손가정’이란 용어를 사용하고자 하며, 이러한 결손가정이 자녀에게 미치는 문제행동의 영향력과 함께 이들의 문제행동을 중재 또는 매개하는 요인이 무엇인지 탐색해 봄으로써 한국에서 결손가정 아동을 위한 사후대책중심의 접근에서 예방 및 조기 치료개입 차원으로 그 문제 해결의 패러다임을 전환시키는 계기를 마련하고자 한다.
