This study empirically analyzed whether women-friendly policies do influence organizational performance in Korean local governments. For the purpose of this study, the survey were conducted with more than 280 public employees worked in ChungNam local governments. And multiple regression analyses were conducted. The independent variables such as the degree of women-friendliness, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and job stress were employed in the analyses. And organizational performance was employed as dependent variable, which consists of three sub-variables as organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and fairness. The results show that women-friendly policies and programs do positively affect the organizational performance. This study suggests that various women-friendly policies and programs are needed to be introduced more positively in the public sector.
