Misei Kosugi who was a war corresponder for Russo-Japanese Wars from January to September in 1904 wrote antiwar poems. His poems were very extraordinary when the tendency of the Japanese imperialism was so powerful.
Before Korean was occupied by Japan, Kosugi had looked around Korea. Over the battlefield from Korea to Manchuria, he wrote 26 pieces of poems. In addition, he published the 「GINCHUSIHEN」at KASAYAMABOU November in 1904. These poems has the image of natural view like mountains and rivers and the custom of person's clothing. Kosugi thought the political aspects between Japan and Korea from objective point of view. Moreover, the sympathy about Korea could be found in his works. In spite of that, he was so ironical to blame the Japanese expansionism and to praise the interest of Japan. These can be found with ease.
