This study empirically analyzes the structural evolution of entrepreneurship research in South Korea by examining 10,974 academic papers published from 1986 to 2024. Utilizing abstracts from the RISS database, the study employed Python-based text mining, specifically keyword frequency analysis and LDA topic modeling. The findings reveal a significant paradigm shift: while earlier research focused on macro-level policy themes like job creation and regional development , the period between 2020 and 2024 has seen a surge in micro-level, technology-centric themes such as digital transformation, AI, and individual entrepreneurial competencies. These results indicate that the entrepreneurial ecosystem is becoming increasingly sophisticated around digital innovation. Academically, this study identifies the evolutionary trajectory of the field and offers a methodological expansion through data-driven analysis. Practically, as digital technology becomes a critical success factor, it is essential to enhance the digital capabilities of founders. Furthermore, the study suggests a policy shift from simple financial aid toward integrated support models involving networking and advanced mentoring.

본 연구는 1986년부터 2024년까지 국내 창업 관련 학술 논문 10,974편을 대상으로 텍스트 마이닝을 적용하여 연구 동향의 구조적 변화를 실증 분석하였다. 연구 방법으로는 RISS에서 수집된 초록을 바탕으로 Python을 활용해 키워드 빈도 분석과 LDA 토픽 모델링을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 과거의 창업 연구는 고용 창출 및 지역 경제 등 정책 중심의 거시적 접근이 주류였으나 , 최근 5년 (2020-2024) 사이에는 디지털 전환, AI, 창업자 역량 및 심리적 요인 등 미시적·기술 중심 접근으로 패러다임이 급격히 이동했음을 확인하였다. 이러한 변화는 한국 창업 연구가 디지털 혁신 생태계를 중심으로 정교화되고 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구의 학술적 시사점은 장기 데이터를 통해 창업 연구의 진화 과정을 체계적으로 규명하고 데이터 기반의 방법론적 확장을 제시했다는 점에 있다. 실무적으 로는 디지털 기술이 핵심 성공 요인으로 부상함에 따라 창업자의 디지털 역량 강화가 시급하며, 정 책적으로는 단순 자금 지원을 넘어 네트워크와 멘토링이 결합된 통합적 지원 모델로의 전환이 필요 함을 시사한다.
