This study conducted a scoping review of research on socially isolated and withdrawn youth in Korea. Four themes were identified: risk factors, recovery and protective factors, health and psychosocial outcomes, and intervention characteristics. Risk factors operated at individual, interpersonal, and structural levels, while recovery factors included personal resources and family and social support. Major outcomes involved mental health problems and impaired social functioning. Most intervention studies used counseling or mobile approaches but were small exploratory studies with limited evidence. Overall, research has increased but remains largely cross-sectional with inconsistent terminology. These findings inform the development of integrated interventions and policy. In addition, future studies should employ longitudinal and mixed-method designs to strengthen the evidence base and capture the dynamic recovery processes of socially isolated youth.

본 연구는 국내 고립·은둔 청년 관련 연구를 대상으로 주제범위 문헌고찰을 실시하여 연구동향과 주요 주제를 분석하였다. 문헌 분석 결과, 연구 주제는 위험요인, 회복 및 보호요인, 건강 및 심리사회적 결과, 중재 특성의 네 영역으로 도출되었다. 위험요인은 개인·대인관계·구조적 요인으로 구분되었고, 회복요인으로는 개인 자원과 가족·사회적 지지, 서비스 접근성이 확인되었다. 주요 결과로는 정신건강 문제, 사회적 기능 저하, 삶의 질 및 정체성 변화가 나타났다. 중재 연구는 상담 및 모바일 기반 중재가 주를 이루었으나 소규모 탐색적 연구에 머물러 효과성 근거가 제한적이었다. 결론적으로 국내 연구는 2024년 이후 양적으로 증가하고 있으나, 단면연구와 2차자료 분석연구에 집중되어 있고 개념 사용의 일관성 또한 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 향후 연구 설계의 다양화와 개념 정립의 필요성을 시사하며, 본 연구는 통합적 개입 모델 개발과 정책 수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.
