This study examined the relationships among clinical practice stress, depression, and career identity in nursing students and identified factors influencing career identity. A descriptive correlational design was used with 151 nursing students from three universities in a metropolitan area of South Korea. Participants had clinical practice experience, and data were collected through an online survey from March 2 to March 31, 2025. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0, including descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, and Pearson’s correlation coefficients. Clinical practice stress showed a positive correlation with depression (r = .297, p < .001). It also showed a negative correlation with career identity (r = -.323, p < .001). Depression was moderately negatively correlated with career identity (r = -.473, p < .001). Clinical practice satisfaction, major satisfaction, and interpersonal relationship difficulties significantly affected all three variables. The results indicate that clinical practice stress and emotional difficulties negatively influence career identity formation. Therefore, integrated strategies for improving clinical practice quality, emotional support, and career education are essential in nursing education.

본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 임상실습스트레스, 우울, 진로정체감 간의 관계를 파악하고, 진로정체 감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하여 간호교육의 정서적·진로적 지원 방안 마련을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 서술적 상관관계 설계로 B광역시 소재 3개 간호대학에 재학 중이며 임상실 습 경험이 있는간호대학생 151명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료 수집은 2025년 3월 2일부터 3월 31일까지 온라인 설문을 통해 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0을 활용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관분석을 실시하였다. 임상실습스트레스는 우울과 정적인 상관관계(r = .297, p < .001), 진로정체감과는 부적인 상관관계(r = -.323, p < .001)를 보였다. 우울은 진로정체감과 중등도의 부적 상관관계(r = -.473, p < .001)를 나타냈다. 또한, 임상실습만족도, 전공만족도, 실습관계 고충은 세 변수 모두에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 간호대학생의 임상실습 중 경험하는 스트레스와 정서적 어려움은 진로정체감 형성에 부정적 영향을 미칠 수 있으므로, 간호교육에서는 실습 환경의 질 향상, 정서 지원 프로그램, 진로 설계 교육 등 통합적 접근이 필요하다.
