This study proposes the GA‑ASSURE model, which adapts the ASSURE instructional design model to the use of generative artificial intelligence in elementary education. The initial model was developed by analyzing the six phases of ASSURE together with key aspects of generative AI, such as its functions, risks, ethics, and required teacher competencies, and then aligning these elements. Written feedback from five experts, including in‑service elementary teachers and researchers in computer education and instructional technology, was used to refine phase‑specific guidelines and derive the second version of GA‑ASSURE. The model embeds AI literacy diagnosis, prompt design and verification, ethical and legal considerations, and preparation for technical failures into the ASSURE cycle, providing practical criteria for using generative AI as a cognitive tool that complements teachers’ professional judgment in achievement standard‑based instructional design.

본 연구는 생성형 인공지능 활용이 확대되는 초등 교육 맥락에서 기존 ASSURE 교수설계 모형을 재구성한 GA‑ASSURE 모형을 제안하는 데 목적이 있다. 문헌연구를 통해 ASSURE 모형의 여섯 단계와 생성형 인공지능의 기능, 위험, 윤리, 교사 역량을 분석하여 1차 모형을 구안하고, 초등교사와 관련 전공 전문가 5인의 서면 의견을 반영해 단계별 실행 지침의 명료성과 현장 적용 가능성을 보완한 2차 모형을 도출하였다. GA‑ASSURE 모형은 학 습자 분석부터 평가 및 수정에 이르는 ASSURE 흐름 속에 AI 리터러시 진단, 프롬프트 설계와 산출물 검증, 윤리 적인 부분과 법적 고려, 기술적 오류 대비를 통합하여 생성형 인공지능을 교사의 전문성을 보완하는 인지적 도구 로 활용하기 위한 성취기준 기반 수업 설계 준거를 제공하고자 하였다.
