This study conceptualizes the emerging phenomenon in which users and language models interact to generate text as the AI writing machine, and proposes a typology from the perspective of intra-action, which conceptualizes the entangled relations between humans and machines. Based on intra-action theory, the AI writing machine is understood as a phenomenon and relational network in which the intentions of human users and the capabilities of large language models are entangled. For the typology, two criteria were established: the characteristics of texts produced by humans and machines, and the environments in which humans and machines interact. Specifically, generated texts were categorized as narrative and non-narrative texts, and interaction environments were divided into conversational and non-conversational interfaces. Based on these criteria, the AI writing machine was classified into four types: playful, creative, universal, and instrumental. Each type exhibited distinctive features-namely the intensification of fictionality, procedurality, factuality, or automaticity which reflect differences in the forms and contexts of human-machine entanglement. This study aimed to provide a clear framework for typology by analyzing specific aspects of writing through the collection of real-world cases and mapping the intra-relations among AI writing machines. The findings indicate that writing within AI writing machines is conducted through a complementary entanglement between human and machine.

본 연구는 사용자와 언어 모델이 상호작용하여 텍스트가 생성되는 새로운 글쓰기 현상을 인공지능 글쓰기 기계로 개념화하고, 인간과 기계가 교차하는 간-행의 관점에서 그 유형화를 시도했다. 간-행 이론을 적용할 경우, 인공지능 글쓰기 기계는 인간 사용자의 의도와 대규모 언어 모델의 성능이 얽힌 현상이자 관계망이다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 인간과 기계가 생성하는 텍스트와 인간과 기계가 상호작용하는 환경을 유형화의 기준으로 제시했다. 세부적으로는 인간과 기계가 생성하는 텍스트를 서사적 텍스트와 비서사적 텍스트로 구분했고, 인간과 기계가 상호작용하는 환경을 대화형 인터페이스와 비대화형 인터페이스로 구분했다. 이와 같은 기 준을 적용해 인공지능 글쓰기 기계를 유희적 글쓰기 기계, 창의적 글쓰기 기계, 범용적 글쓰기 기계, 도구적 글쓰기 기계로 유형화했다. 각 유형은 허구성, 절차성, 사실성, 자동성의 강화라는 변별적인 특징을 보였으며 이는 인간과 기계가 얽히는 형식과 조건의 차이에서 비롯된 것이다. 아울러 유형별 글쓰기의 구체적 양상을 분석하고 결과적으로 인공지능 글쓰기 기계에서의 글쓰기는 인간과 기계의 상호보완적 얽힘 속에서 수행되고 있는 것을 확인했다.
