This study developed a new integrated index combining traffic congestion and safety characteristics that can supplement the limitations of existing traffic indicators in a mixed autonomous driving environment. TTI and OCI indicators representing traffic congestion were selected as the integrated indicator composition variables, and TTC indicators representing road safety were selected. The data required for each indicator were collected through a PTV VISSIM simulation. Factor analysis was used to calculate the weights of the integrated indicators, which showed that the weights of the TTI, OCI2, and TTC indicators were 0.363, 0.303, and –0.334, respectively. After calculating the final integrated indicator equation, the criteria for determining traffic conditions were divided into three stages through clustering. These integrated indicators can be used to valuate the traffic conditions at the time of road congestion and accidents in real time and respond quickly.

본 연구에서는 자율주행 혼재환경에서 기존 교통지표의 한계점을 보완할 수 있는 교통의 혼잡도와 안전 특성을 결합한 새로운 통합지표를 개발하였다. 통합지표 구성 변수로는 교통 혼잡도를 나타내는 TTI와 OCI 지표를 선정하고, 도로 안전성을 나타내는 TTC 지표를 선정하였 다. 각 지표에 필요한 데이터는 PTV VISSIM 시뮬레이션을 통해 수집하였다. 통합지표의 가중치 산정 방법으로는 요인분석을 활용하였으며, 요인분석 결과 TTI, OCI2 , TTC 지표의 가중치는 각각 0.363, 0.303, -0.334으로 도출되었다. 최종 통합지표 식을 산정한 후, 클러스터링을 통해 교통상황 판단 기준을 3단계로 구분하였다. 이러한 통합지표를 활용하여 도로 혼잡 및 사고 발생 시의 교통상황을 실시간으로 분석 및 판단하여 신속하게 대응할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
