This study examined the relationships among parental psychological control, unconditional self-acceptance, perfectionistic self-presentation, and social anxiety in university students, and tested the sequential mediating effects of unconditional self-acceptance and perfectionistic self-presentation. Data were collected from 229 undergraduate students through an online survey and analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and PROCESS Macro v.4.2. The results indicated that all variables were significantly correlated. Unconditional self-acceptance and perfectionistic self-presentation partially mediated the relationship between parental psychological control and social anxiety, and a significant sequential mediation effect was also found. Higher parental psychological control was associated with lower unconditional self-acceptance and higher perfectionistic self-presentation, which in turn increased social anxiety. These findings highlight the psychological mechanisms underlying social anxiety in university students and suggest the importance of interventions that enhance unconditional self-acceptance.

이 연구는 대학생이 지각한 부모의 심리적 통제, 무조건적 자기수용, 완벽주의적 자기제시 및 사 회불안 간의 관계를 살펴보고, 부모의 심리적 통제가 사회불안에 작용하는 경로에서 무조건적 자기 수용과 완벽주의적 자기제시의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하여 상담적 개입의 기초자료를 제공하고자 실시하였다. 연구대상은 전국의 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 남녀 대학생 229명이었으며, 온라인 설 문 방식을 활용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0과 PROCESS Macro v.4.2를 활용 하여 상관분석과 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 주요 변인들 간에는 유의한 상관관계가 나타났다. 또한 부모의 심리적 통제가 사회불안에 작용하는 경로에서 무조건적 자기수용과 완벽주 의적 자기제시는 각각 부분 매개효과를 보였으며, 두 변인은 순차적으로도 매개효과를 나타냈다. 즉, 부모의 심리적 통제 수준이 높을수록 무조건적 자기수용은 낮아지고 완벽주의적 자기제시 경향 은 높아져 사회불안이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 대학생 사회불안의 심리적 기제에 대한 이해를 확장하고, 무조건적 자기수용을 증진시키고 완벽주의적 자기제시를 완화하는 치료적 개입의 중요성을 시사한다.
