This study aims to analyze research trends regarding school adaptation among multicultural youth in South Korea, covering the period from 2007 to July 2025. To achieve this, research papers targeting multicultural youth's adaptation to school life —including those from multicultural families, migrant background, and North Korean defectors—were collected from the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS). From this pool, 280 academic papers were selected for final analysis. Data processing was conducted using Textom, an online big data analysis tool, to perform Keyword Network Analysis. The key findings of this study are as follows: First, keyword frequency analysis revealed that "school adaptation", "multicultural adolescents," "self-esteem," "multicultural families”, "acculturative stress," and "social support" were the most prominent keywords. Second, centrality analysis showed high values for variables such as social support, self-esteem, and acculturative stress, confirming their significant influence and roles as pivotal factors within the research network. Third, chronological trend analysis indicated that research in this field began in earnest after 2010 and has consistently increased through 2025. This progression reflects a trend toward the diversification of variables and the expansion of the overall scope of research. Based on these results, this study discusses implications and limitations and provides suggestions for the future direction of multicultural research.

본 연구의 목적은 급변하는 한국사회에서의 다문화청소년을 이해하기 위해 2007년도부터 2025년 7월까지 국내에 발표된 다문화청소년 대상 학교생활 적응 연구 동향을 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 RISS(학술연구정보서비스)에 발표된 학술논문 중 다문화 가정, 이주배경, 탈북 청소년 등 다문화범주 청소년 대상 연구를 선별하고 이중 학교생활 적응 관련 논문을 추출하여 최종 선정된 총 280 편의 학술자료를 토대로 온라인 기반 빅데이터 분석도구인 텍스톰(textom)을 활 용하여 키워드 네트워크(keyword network) 분석을 진행하였다. 주요 결과는 다 음과 같다. 첫째, 출현빈도 키워드는 학교생활 적응, 다문화청소년, 자아존중감, 다문화가정, 문화적응스트레스, 사회적 지지가 도출되었다. 둘째, 중심성 분석에 서는 사회적지지, 자아존중감, 문화적응 스트레스 변인 빈도가 높은 수치로 나 타나 연구 네트워크 내 중추적인 요인으로서 영향력이 확인되었다. 셋째, 시기 별 분석에서는 관련 연구가 2010년 이후 연구가 본격적으로 시작되어 매년 지 속적으로 증가하고 있으며, 변인의 다양화와 연구 영역의 확장이 도출되었다. 이와 같은 결과를 토대로 시사점과 한계점을 기술하고 향후 후속 연구방향과 다문화청소년의 학교적응 방안을 제언하였다.
