In this paper, the author diagnoses the marginalisation of doctrinal preaching in contemporary Korean churches and explores its new possibilities, drawing on the hermeneutical insights of Paul Ricoeur and the concept of 'life narrative' from Fritz Lienhard. Korean churches today are losing sight of the doctrinal essence that underpins the Christian faith, driven by a tendency to prioritise growth and a preoccupation with providing emotional satisfaction to the audience. Consequently, sermons are filled with language offering emotional comfort and blessings, leaving congregations helpless in the face of rising heresy and the challenges of secularisation. To overcome this crisis, the author emphasises that doctrine must be reborn as a 'productive dogma', not a mere list of empty words or rigid propositions, but a reimagining of the believer's existence. To achieve this, the author first explores the new worldview revealed by texts through the lens of Ricoeur's hermeneutics. According to Ricoeur, interpretation is not an act of grasping the author's intention in the past, but an event in which the reader appropriates the 'possible world' revealed by the text into their own life. Through this process, doctrine becomes a dynamic force that accompanies the ontological transformation of the believer. Furthermore, this study presents Prinz Lienhard's 'postcritical dogmatics' and 'dogmatic imagination' as concrete methodologies for doctrinal preaching. Lienhard reinterprets doctrine as a narrative of faith and life, emphasising the process of 'rewriting' by translating the core motifs of doctrine into the cultural language of modern people. Therefore, this paper presents practical examples of how this approach can be applied to the doctrinal theme of 'the image of God'. This interpretation pursues the eschatological goal of perfecting the image of God, both in individuals and throughout history. Faith expands beyond the individual's inner self to encompass an ethics of three 'consideration(soucis)' directed towards others and social justice. In conclusion, the restoration of doctrinal preaching is neither a mere transfer of knowledge nor a return to dogmatism. Rather, it is a restoration of spiritual leadership that organically integrates biblical truth with the existential needs of modern people, reshaping the lives of believers theologically. The hermeneutical approach presented in this study will contribute to rebuilding public trust in the Korean church and to the establishment of a transformative faith community that lives as disciples of Christ in the world.

본고에서 저자는 한국교회 강단에서 소외된 교리 설교의 위기 현상을 진단하고 폴리 쾨르의 해석학적 통찰과 프린츠 린하드의 ‘삶의 서사’ 개념을 빌려 교의학적 설교의 새로운 가능성을 연구하였다. 오늘날 한국교회는 성장지상주의적 경향과 청중의 정서 적 만족에만 치우쳐서 기독교 신앙의 뼈대인 교리적 본질을 상실하고 있다. 이로 인 해서 강단은 감성적인 위로와 축복의 언어에 매몰되었고, 성도들은 이단의 발흥과 세 속화의 도전 앞에 무력한 실정이다. 저자는 이러한 위기를 극복하기 위해 교리 설교 가 박제된 문자나 딱딱한 명제의 나열이 아닌, 성도의 실존을 재구성하는 ‘생산적 도 그마(Productive Dogma)’로 거듭나야 함을 강조한다. 이를 위해 먼저 폴 리쾨르의 해석학을 통해 텍스트가 개시하는 새로운 세계상을 탐구한다. 폴 리쾨르에 따르면 해석 은 저자의 의도를 파악하는 과거 지향적 행위가 아니라, 텍스트 앞에서 펼쳐지는 ‘가능한 세계’를 독자가 자신의 삶으로 전유(Appropriation)하는 사건이다. 이를 통해서 교리는 신앙인의 존재론적 변화를 수반하는 역동적인 동력이 된다. 또한, 이 연구는 프린츠 린하드의 ‘탈비판적 교의학’과 ‘교의적 상상력’을 교리 설교의 구체적인 방법론 으로 제시하였다. 프린츠 린하드는 교의를 신앙과 삶의 서사로 재해석하며, 교리의 핵심 모티브를 현대인의 문화적 언어로 치환하는 ‘다시 쓰기(re-writing)’ 과정을 강조한 다. 이러한 이론적 고찰을 가지고 ‘하나님의 형상’이라는 교리적 주제에 적용하여 실 천적 예시를 제시하였다. 하나님의 형상을 개인적인 영역을 넘어서 역사 속에서 완성 해 가는 종말론적 지향점을 추구한다. 신앙은 개인의 내면을 넘어 타자와 사회적 정의를 향한 세 가지 ‘마음씀(souci)’의 윤리로 확장된다. 결론적으로 교리적 설교의 회복은 단순한 지식 전달이나 교조주의로의 회귀가 아니다. 그것은 성서의 진리를 현대 인의 실존적 요구와 유기적으로 통합하여, 성도의 전 생애를 신학적으로 재구성(re-shaping)하는 영적 지도력의 회복이다. 본 연구가 제시한 해석학적 접근은 한국교 회가 공적 신뢰를 회복하고, 세상 속에서 그리스도의 제자로 살아가는 변혁적 신앙 공동체를 세우는 데 기여할 것이다.
