This study aims to identify key improvement areas for the university Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance educational quality and learner satisfaction by using a mixed-methods approach. A survey was conducted with 156 students at K University, followed by Focus Group Interviews (FGI) with 27 participants. The data were analyzed using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) and Thematic Analysis. The IPA results indicated that 'Discussion Forum' and 'Poll' functions fell into the 'Urgent Action' quadrant, requiring immediate improvement. Furthermore, the qualitative analysis revealed five major themes of learner experience: 1) technical instability, 2) lack of device compatibility, 3) user interface confusion, 4) insufficient learning management functions, and 5) support for communication and learning community. This study is significant as it provides empirical data for optimizing LMS functions and environments centered on learner needs.

본 연구는 대학의 학습관리시스템 경험을 통해 교육의 질과 학습자의 시스템 만족도 향상을 위해 학습자 를 대상으로 개선사항을 도출하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이에 K대학교 학생 156명을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였으며, 그 중 27명을 대상으로 포커스그룹(FGI)를 진행하였다. 수집된 자료는 IPA 분석기법과 주제분석 기법을 활용한 혼합연구 기법을 활용하였다. IPA 분석 결과, 토론방과 투표 기능이 집중관리 영역으로 분류되어 즉각적인 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 주제분석 결과, 학습자 경험은 '기술적 불안정성, 기기 및 환경 호환성 부족, 사용자 인 터페이스 혼란, 학습 관리 기능 미흡, 소통 및 학습 공동체 지원' 5개의 주제로 범주화되었다. 이 연구는 고등교육 환경에서의 학습관리시스템을 사용함에 있어 학습자가 경험하는 주요 불편 요인은 무엇이며, 학습경험의 질을 향 상하기 위해 요구되는 핵심 개선 사항을 도출함으로써 학습자 지원 방안을 마련했다는 데 그 의의가 있다.
