This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the sori-buk teaching and learning content presented in the 2022 Revised Middle and High School Music Textbooks and to propose specific improvement measures based on the findings. The analysis identified several issues, including ambiguous activity instructions, insufficient structural organization of instructional content, inaccuracies in visual materials, inconsistencies in the terminology used for sori-buk striking positions, and a lack of clarity and specificity in explanations of performance posture and playing techniques. In addition, the notation system for rhythmic patterns—particularly the symbols and gu-eum (mnemonic vocal syllables) system—was found to lack consistency across textbooks. Notably, some rhythmic scores did not adequately reflect the prosodic alignment(malbutimsae) of pansori lyrics, limiting students’ ability to develop practical accompaniment skills. To address these issues, this study proposes several improvement strategies. First, from the perspective of curriculum-based instructional design, it emphasizes the systematic structuring of sori-buk learning content in alignment with the performance domain achievement standards of the 2022 Revised Music Curriculum. This includes integrating key musical elements such as rhythmic accent (jangdan-ui se), rhythmic pattern structures, prosodic alignment, timbral variation, and tempo change (hanbae change). Second, from the perspective of revised instructional content and materials, the study presents a detailed discussion of four areas: supplementation of content concerning the origin and historical development of the sori-buk; standardization of striking-position terminology and improvement of visual accuracy; elaboration of explanations regarding performance posture and playing technique; and standardization of the jangdanbo notation system alongside the presentation of practical accompaniment patterns. The proposed instructional framework prioritizes practical applicability in school settings and is expected to contribute to future textbook development and to the overall qualitative advancement of pansori education.

본 연구는 2022 개정 중ㆍ고등학교 교과서에 수록된 소리북 교수ㆍ학습 내용을 심층적으 로 분석하고, 이를 토대로 수정 보완이 필요한 사항에 대한 구체적인 개선 방안을 제시하는 데 목적을 두었다. 분석 결과, 학습 활동 지시문의 모호성, 체계적인 교수ㆍ학습 내용 구조화의 미비, 시각 자료의 오류와 소리북 타점 자리 명칭의 불일치, 연주 자세 및 연주법 설명의 부족 및 비구체 성과 같은 문제가 확인되었다. 또한, 장단보의 부호와 구음 체계 역시 통일성이 부족한 것으 로 나타났다. 무엇보다 판소리 사설의 붙임새를 고려하지 않은 장단보가 수록된 점은 학습자 가 실질적인 소리북 반주를 익히는 데 한계로 작용하였다. 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 본 연구는 다음과 같은 개선 방안을 제시하였다. 먼저 ‘교 육과정에 근거한 소리북 교수ㆍ학습 내용의 구성 방향’의 측면에서 2022 개정 음악과 교육과 정 연주 영역의 성취기준과 함께 ‘장단의 세’, ‘여러 가지 장단의 장단꼴’, ‘말붙임새’, ‘여러 가지 음색’, ‘한배의 변화’와 같은 음악 요소를 포괄하는 학습 내용을 체계적으로 구조화할 필요성을 강조하였다. 다음으로 ‘개선된 소리북 교수ㆍ학습 내용 및 자료’ 측면에서는 ‘소리 북의 기원과 변천에 관한 내용 보완’, ‘타점 명칭의 통일과 시각 자료의 정확성 제고’, ‘연주 자세 및 주법 설명의 구체화’, ‘장단보 표기 체계의 표준화와 실전 반주 장단 제시’에 관해 구체적으로 논의하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 소리북 교수ㆍ학습 내용은 학교 현장에서의 실질적인 활용 가능성을 염두에 두고 마련한 것으로 향후 교과서 개발 및 판소리 교육 전반의 질적 수준을 제고하는 데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.
