This study discusses the understanding of missional preaching in the post-Christendom era, its necessity and benefits, and methodologies for practicing effective missional preaching. Missional preaching represents an alternative homiletical movement for a post-Christian or post-church era. It is a homiletical application stemming from the establishment of missiological theology-specifically the Missio Dei concept, which understands mission as flowing from the very nature of the Triune God before any church activity-and missional hermeneutics, which interprets the entire biblical narrative as revealing God's missional purpose and activity. This study examines the characteristics of missional preachingits Trinitarian theological foundation, proclamation of the kingdom of God and Christ-centeredness, the biblical purpose and content of forming communities distinct from the world, and its communicative features of contextualization and a proclamation-invitation method-to concretely identify why missional preaching is necessary for this era. Furthermore, this paper identifies the differences between the emphases of missional preaching and those of traditional preaching while exploring the potential for harmony with existing preaching methods. Finally, it presents a preaching methodology that reflects the characteristics of missional preaching throughout the entire process of exegesis, theology, and sermon preparation.

본 연구는 포스트-크리스텐덤 시대 속에서 선교적 설교에 대한 이해 와 그 필요성과 유익, 그리고 효과적인 선교적 설교를 실천하기 위한 방법론 다룬다. 선교적 설교는 탈기독교 혹은 탈교회 시대에 대한 대안 적 설교학적 움직임이자, 선교가 교회의 활동 이전에 삼위일체 하나님 의 본성에서 흘러나온다고 이해하는 미시오 데이(Missio Dei) 선교 신 학적 개념과 성경 전체의 이야기가 선교적 하나님의 목적과 활동을 계 시하는 것으로 이해하는 선교적 해석학의 정립에 따른 설교적 적용이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 선교적 설교의 특징을 삼위일체 하나님 중심의 신학적 토대, 하나님 나라의 선포와 그리스도 중심성, 그리고 세상과 다른 공동체 형성의 성경적 목적과 내용, 문화 맥락화와 선포와 초대를 공유하는 설교 소통적 특징들을 살펴보면서, 선교적 설교가 이 시대에 필요한 이유를 구체적으로 규명한다. 아울러 이 논문은 선교적 설교의 강조점이 전통적 설교의 강조점과의 차이점을 확인하면서 기존 설교 방법들과의 조화 가능성을 타진해본다. 마지막으로 선교적 설교의 특징을 반영한 주해, 신학, 설교 작성의 전체 과정을 통한 설교 방법론을 제시한다.
