This study examines how occupational characteristics, including Artificial Intelligence Occupational Exposure (AIOE), affect the occupational choices of young job seekers in Korea using the Employment Insurance Database. Specifically, a Bayesian mixed logit model is employed to analyze the occupational choices of individuals aged 15~34 who first enrolled in Employment Insurance in 2022. The analysis incorporates occupational attributes such as AIOE, wages, working hours, wage growth, average tenure, female ratio, and youth ratio. The results indicate that AIOE has a statistically significant negative effect on occupational choice, and other occupational characteristics also exert significant effects. This study contributes to understanding youth occupational choice in the era of AI.

본 연구는 한국의 고용보험 DB를 활용하여 직업별 인공지능 노출도를 포함한 직업 특성들이 청년 구직자들의 직업 선택에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 구체적으로 베이지안 혼합 로짓 모형을 이용해 2022년 최초 고용보험 가입 이력이 있는 청년(15~34세)의 직업 선택에 직업 특성들이 미치는 영향을 추정하였다. 분석에는 직업별 인공지능 노출도, 임금, 근로 시간, 임금 상승률, 평균 근속 연수, 여성 비율, 청년 비율 등 11개 변수가 포함되었다. 분석 결과, 직업 특성 변수들은 청년들의 직업 선택에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으며, 특히 직업별 인공지능 노출도는 통계적으로 유의한 음의 영향을 보였다. 본 연구는 인공지능 시대에 청년 구직자의 직업 선택 구조를 이해하고 일자리 정책 설계를 위한 실증적 근거를 제공한다.
