The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of the second-level curriculum for culture and arts education history in the four-year dance department in Korea, and to derive problems and improvement measures. To this end, a literature research method that analyzed related academic research and reports was applied, focusing on the university's curriculum disclosure data and culture and arts education system policy documents. As a result, 29 domestic universities operate the second- level curriculum for culture and arts education history in the Dance discipline, of which 16 have opened all five subjects of job competency and teaching competency, which are recognized educational subjects for culture and arts education history. In the case of the 'Introduction to Culture and Arts Education' and 'Understanding and Practice in the Field of Culture and Arts Education', which are job competencies, eight schools are conducted through the integration of colleges and undergraduate departments. Finally, there are four improvements to the second-level curriculum for dance and culture and arts education history. First, ensuring consistency in the curriculum composition of culture and arts education history in the Dance discipline, second, a teaching method research and development that can strengthen the linkage and expertise between theory and practice, third, establishing a network of training institutions, strengthening cooperation with local arts institutions, and fourth, strengthening the internship system for culture and arts education history and a system for employment linkage.

본 연구는 국내 4년제 무용학과의 문화예술교육사 2급 교육과정 현황을 살펴보고, 문제점에 대한 개선 방향과 시사점 을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 대학의 교육과정 공시자료와 문화예술교육사 제도 및 정책 문서를 중심으로 한 문헌 기반 탐색 연구를 수행하였다. 그 결과, 무용 분야 문화예술교육사 2급 교육과정을 운영 중인 국내 대학은 29개 교이며, 이 중 문화예술교육사 인정 교육과목인 직무역량과 교수역량 5과목을 모두 개설한 학교는 16개교로 확인되었 다. 이 중 직무역량인 ’문화예술교육개론‘과 ’문화예술교육 현장의 이해와 실습‘ 과목의 경우, 단과대학 및 학부 통합으 로 진행하는 학교가 8개교로 확인되었다. 최종적으로, 무용학과 문화예술교육사 2급 교육과정의 개선점은 4가지로 제 시할 수 있는데, 첫째, 무용 분야 문화예술교육사 교육과정 구성의 일관성 확보, 둘째, 이론과 실습의 연계성 및 전문성 을 강화할 수 있는 교수법 연구 및 개발, 셋째, 실습기관 네트워크 구축 및 지역 예술기관과의 협력 강화, 넷째, 문화예 술교육사 인턴십 제도 강화 및 취업 연계 제도이다.
