In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, artificial intelligence (AI) technology is presenting new possibilities to solve long-standing problems such as accessibility limitations and content uniformity in the field of culture and arts education. AI can innovate the quality and accessibility of education through personalized education, real-time feedback, and provision of immersive experiences, and ultimately contribute to fostering creative and convergent talents. This study aims to promote the development of culture and arts education in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do in this AI era, and to propose basic data for building an innovative education model by exploring AI application plans. In particular, targeting Hwaseong City, which seeks regional revitalization through the vision of a "city connected to culture and arts," this study aims to present a new educational model by analyzing the current types of culture and arts education and exploring A I application plans. The study was conducted in an in-dept h interview (FGI) method for about two months from August 1 to September 30, 2024, targeting eight cultural and arts experts in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do with more than 10 year s of experience. Coding for research theorization was conducted through initial coding, selective coding, and theoretical coding steps to derive factors. As a result of the study, Hwaseong City uses AI as a driving force for the 4th industrial revolution to promote digital content and experience innovation by strengthening citizens' digital capabilities and establishing an AI convergence industry ecosystem. In order to establish solid AI governance, the core strategies are strengthening AI innovation capabilities in the public sector, industry-academic cooperation, and expanding citizen participation.

4차 산업혁명 시대를 맞아 인공지능(AI) 기술은 문화예술 교육 분야에서 접근성한계 및 콘텐츠 획일성 등의 오랜 과제 를 해결할 새로운 가능성을 제시하고 있다. AI는 개인 맞춤형 교육, 실시간 피드백, 그리고 몰입형 경험 제공을 통해 교육 의 질과 접근성을 혁신하고, 궁극적으로 창의융합 인재 양성 에 기여할 수 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 AI 시대에 경기도 화성 시 문화예술교육의 발전을 도모하고, AI 적용 방안을 탐색하 여 혁신적인 교육 모델 구축을 위한 기초 자료를 제안하는 것 을 목적으로 한다. 특히 '문화예술로 연결되는 도시' 비전을 통해 지역 활성화를 추구하는 화성시를 대상으로, 본 연구는 문화예술교육의 현행 유형을 분석하고 AI 적용 방안을 탐색 함으로써 새로운 교육 모델을 제시하고자 한다. 연구는 경기 도 화성 지역의문화예술 전문가 중 10년 이상의 경력을 가진 8인을 대상으로 2024년 8월 1일부터 9월 30일까지 약 두 달간 심층 인터뷰(FGI) 방식으로 진행되었다. 요인 도출을 위해 초 기 코딩, 선택 코딩, 이론 코딩 단계를 거쳐 연구이론화를 위 한 코딩을 진행하였다. 연구결과, 화성시는 AI를 4차 산업혁 명 동력으로 삼아 시민 디지털 역량 강화 및 AI 융합 산업 생 태계 구축을 통한 디지털 콘텐츠 및 경험 혁신을 추진한다. 견고한 AI 거버넌스 구축을 위해 공공 부문 AI 혁신 역량 강 화, 산학연관 협력, 시민 참여 확대를 핵심 전략으로 삼는다. 또한 쇠퇴 및 유휴 공간을 창문아트센터, 소다미술관 등으로 문화 재생하여 지역 문화 인프라를 확장하고 활성화를 도모 한다.
