This paper aims to analyze the key issues emerging in school sports ethics education and propose corresponding policy-related and educational alternatives or improvements. To achieve this, the study discusses the key issues for school sports ethics education by dividing them into three areas: the directionality of sports ethics education, the reflection device of sports ethics education in the curriculum, and issues in the elementary teacher training process. While dealing with school sports ethics education, we specifically focuses on elementary schools. First, Chapter 2 discusses the directionality of sports ethics education, covering the issues of the virtue approach versus the ethics principle approach, mentioning the argument for a case-based approach, and discussing the issue of the uniqueness of sports ethics education. Next, Chapter 3 discusses the problem of reflecting sports ethics education content in the curriculum and textbooks. We suggests that while reflection in the curriculum is not easy, it can be established based on national and social demand, and proposes using the characteristics of the textbook authorization system. Finally, Chapter 4 discusses the key issues within the elementary school teacher training process. Given that elementary education is exclusively carried out by teachers trained in universities of education, this chapter analyzes the current state of the curriculum in these universities and proposes corresponding improvement plans. And, considering that elementary sports instructors teach physical education classes in elementary schools, the study proposes methods for reflecting their educational training programs. This paper is expected to serve as a means to heighten interest and act as a specific improvement plan for future elementary school sports ethics education.

본 논문은 학교 스포츠 윤리교육에서 나타나고 있는 쟁점들을 분석하고 그에 따른 정책적, 교육적 대안 또 는 개선 방안을 제시하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 논문에서는 학교 스포츠 윤리교육을 위한 쟁점(해결 과 제)을 스포츠 윤리교육의 방향성 문제, 스포츠 윤리교육의 교육과정 반영의 문제, 초등교사 양성 과정상의 문 제로 나누어 쟁점을 다루었다. 학교 스포츠 윤리교육에 대한 것을 다루면서 특히 초등학교에 중점을 두었다. 먼저 제2장 스포츠 윤리교육의 방향성 문제는 덕목 접근과 원리 접근의 문제를 다루면서 사례접근 주장에 대 해서도 언급하고, 스포츠 윤리교육의 독자성 문제를 다루었다. 다음으로 제3장에서는 스포츠 윤리교육 내용을 교육과정과 교과서에 반영하는 문제를 다루었다. 교육과정에의 반영은 쉽지 않으나, 국가 사회적 필요성에 따 라 설정가능하며, 검정 체제의 특성을 활용할 것을 제안하였다. 그리고 마지막으로 제4장에서는 초등교사 양 성 과정에서의 문제를 다루었다. 초등교육은 독점적으로 교육대학에서 양성되는 초등교사에 의해 이루어진다 는 점에서 교육대학교육과정의 실태를 분석하고 그에 따른 개선 방안을 제안하였다. 그리고 초등 스포츠 강사 들이 초등학교 체육 수업을 지도하고 있다는 점에서 이들 연수 프로그램에 교육 내용 반영방안을 살펴보았다. 본 논문이 향후 학교 초등 스포츠 윤리교육을 위한 관심 제고와 하나의 개선방안의 역할을 기대한다.
