Unification Thought, this study aims to propose a religious transition for the era of nonreligion and explore the future direction of the Family Federation church. From the viewpoint of Unification Thought, the era of nonreligion does not signify an age where religion is no longer necessary due to the complete restoration of divinity in all human beings; rather, it suggests that while human original nature is progressively being restored, institutionalized religions are failing to respond to modern individuals who seek personal spiritual fulfillment. Furthermore, the Principle of Gong Eui (Co-righteousness) must be systematized to serve as an alternative ideology capable of addressing the ethical longings faced by contemporary post-religious society. Finally, this study suggests that the church in the era of nonreligion should transform into a relationship-centered community of heart (Shim-jung), practicing a life for the sake of others through service and cooperation, and focusing its efforts on cultivating universal global citizenship ethics.

본 연구는 통일사상적 관점에서 무종교시대와 교회의 본질을 재조명해봄으로써 무종교시대의 종교적 전환을 제시하고 가정연합 교회의 미래 방향을 모색하고자 하 였다. 통일사상의 관점에서 볼 때 무종교시대는 제도화된 종교가 개인적인 영성의 충만을 추구하는 현대인들에게 응답하지 못하고 있는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 또한 공의 주의는 탈종교화된 현대 사회가 직면한 윤리적 갈망에 답할 수 있는 대안적 사상이 될 수 있도록 체계화되어야 할 것이다. 나아가 무종교시대의 교회는 관계 중심의 심 정공동체가 되어 봉사와 협력을 통해 위하는 삶을 실천하고 보편적 세계시민윤리 함양에 주력해야 함을 제시하였다.
