The Journal of this study presents a qualitative job analysis and Content Validity Index(CVI) conducted to identify the job of occupational therapists working in dementia care hospitals. The study job elements of occupational therapists at dementia care hospitals were derived through expert advisory meetings. After that an expert panel was formed on the derived job elements to perform content validity evaluation. As a result, the job of occupational therapists at dementia safety hospitals was structured into 5 duties, 13 tasks, 27 task elements of evaluation, non-drug intervention, guardian and caregiver education, discharge plan, and multidisciplinary team cooperation. The derived job streucture reflects the characteristics of a hospital-based treatment environment aimed at managing behavioral psychological symptoms and maintaining and recovering functions of severely dementia patients, and returning to the community. This study aims to provide basic data for standardized job standardization development, design of specialized education systems, and establishment of manpower allocation standards in the future by empirically presenting the professional roles of occupational therapists at dementia care hospitals.

이 논문은 치매안심병원에서 근무하는 작업치료사의 직무를 규명하기 위해 질적 직무분석과 내용타당도 평가를 시행하였다. 연구는 전문가 자문회의를 통해 치매안심병원 작업치료사의 직무요소를 1차적으로 도출하였다. 이후 도출된 직무요소를 대상으로 전문가 패널을 구성하여 내용타당도 평가를 수행하였다. 그 결과 치매안심병원 작업치료사의 직무는 평가, 비약물 중재, 보호자 및 간병인 교육, 퇴원계획, 다학제 팀 협력의 5개 직무영역과 13 개 과업, 27개 세부과업으로 구조화되었다. 도출된 직무구조는 중증 치매환자의 행동심리증상 관리와 기능 유지 및 회복, 지역사회 복귀를 목표로 하는 병원 기반 치료 환경의 특성을 반영한 것이다. 본 연구는 치매안심병원 작 업치료사의 전문적 역할을 실증적으로 제시함으로써 향후 표준화된 직무 표준화 개발과 전문교육 체계 설계 및 인력 배치 기준 마련을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다.
