This paper illuminates the life and ministry of Pastor Kim Sun-tae, a visually impaired Reverend in Korea who overcame personal and historical adversities to pioneer ministry to persons with disabilities. It posits Reverend Kim's life as ‘mission as a being' and situates it within broader ecumenical currents and missiological reflection, thereby redefining the role of persons with disabilities in Christian mission. Through his missiology, it addresses mission from the margins, mission of forgiveness beyond discrimination, and Inclusive mission as a gift of being. It argues that Reverend Kim Sun-tae's theology and missiological practice represent a transformative approach to perceptions of persons with disabilities within society and the church. By outlining the evolution of disability awareness and disability theology, it calls for enhanced understanding of God incarnate within us and heightened recognition of disability theology and missiological challenges.
