Greenhouse gas emissions are a major constributor to climate change, a global issue being tackled through international efforts such as the Paris Agreement addressing it. South Korea has actively implemented legislative measures aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emissions,particularly within the transportation sector. This study investigates carbon dioxide emissions from highways in Incheon, focusing on carbon emissions between passenger and freight traffic. By utilizing traffic data and applying cluster analysis, regression models are created to identify emission patterns. The findings highlight the variation in emissions patterns across major arterial roads, providing essential data for developing targeted strategies to reduce emissions at the local government level.
