This study analyzes prior research and practical cases of AI utilization in moral education, and proposes directions for its development. Existing research primarily focuses on using AI as a tool to assist teachers in lesson preparation and design, or as a learning support tool. The development of AI tools specialized for moral education and customized learning platforms is still in its early stages. This study proposes three directions for AI to address challenges in teaching and learning, and assessment in moral education, and to complement teachers’ roles. First, AI should be used to enhance and transform moral education pedagogy. Second, AI should be employed for assessment improvement, including grading essay-type questions, strengthening the validity of performance assessments, and reducing bias in affective evaluations. Third, AI-based habit management apps should support consistent moral practice in daily life.

본 연구는 AI 활용 도덕교육의 선행 연구와 실천 사례를 분석하고, 발전 방향을 제시한다. 기존 연구는 AI를 교사의 수업 준비와 설계 보 조 도구, 혹은 학습 보조 도구로 활용하는 방안에 집중하고 있으며, 도 덕과 특화 AI 도구 및 맞춤형 학습 플랫폼 개발은 아직 초기 단계에 있다. 본 연구는 AI가 도덕과 교육 및 평가의 문제를 해결하고 교사의 역할을 보완할 세 가지 방향을 제안한다. 첫째, AI를 도덕과 교수법의 증폭 및 변혁에 활용해야 한다. 둘째, 서·논술형 평가 채점, 수행 평가의 타당성 강화, 정의적 평가의 편향 감소 등 평가 개선에 AI를 활용 해야 한다. 셋째, AI 기반 습관 관리 앱으로 도덕적 실천을 지원해야 한다.
